Hosts various events and provides gifts of appreciation throughout the
year to help honor Laurel teachers, aides and administration staff for
all that they do to educate and nurture our children.
Here's what Staff Appreciation does:
- Provides lunch and dinner for staff on September 3, Back to School Night
- Hosts a holiday (December) and spring luncheon (May)
- Hosts early morning coffee carts and provides tasty treats for all of Laurel's staff
- Gives small thank you gifts throughout the year (e.g. a basket of organic apples in the staff lounge on the first day of school)
Here's how you can get involved:
- Cook/bake/buy food (or ingredients) for luncheons and other events
- Provide beverages, decorations or other event needs
- Assist with yard duty during events
- General support (set-up, serve, clean-up, etc.)
- Help coordinate event(s)
Attention working parents: this is a great committee in which to
participate! You can be an important contributor, even if you can't
attend the mid-day events.
