Walk Pooling Program

We're looking for parents and kids who live within 1.5 miles of school to begin a walking school bus, picking up kids along the route to school. Complete the Walk + Bike Survey and help make your child, yourself, your community and your planet a little healthier this year!

Volunteer for the PTO

Your help is needed in the Library, at Hot Lunch, at our Book Fair, and for many other PTO volunteer positions. Please take a look at the PTO Volunteer Opportunities form and sign up for a great Laurel committee! Committees will also be signing up volunteers at the Back-to-School coffee from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. on the August 24th (the first day of school).

Curbside "Carpool" Pickup

Fill out the Car/Carpool Pickup Form if you plan to use the carpool pick-up line at dismissal time. You must have a carpool pick-up number whether you are picking up just one child or a group of children. Curbside "Carpool" pickup begins on Wednesday, September 6.
IMPORTANT: Please review the Drop-off and Pick-Up Procedures to understand how Carpool Pickup works.

PTO Annual Membership Drive

Join the PTO Team! We need your support to make this another great year of learning for our children. We encourage every family to join the PTO Team for the 2005-2006 school year to help our schools provide an all-star educational experience for our kids. You can download a membership form, and drop it off with your donation at the school office, or join online using a credit card.

Library Permission Form

Please print out and complete the Library Permission Form, and return it to your child's teacher the first week of school. Once the form has been received, your child will be able to check books out from our wonderful Laurel Library!

Berlitz Language Program

Registration is now open for the PTO-sponsored Berlitz after-school Foreign Language Program. Berlitz offers Spanish and French to Kindergarten through second grade. Separate Kindergarten times are offered. It is a multi-year program with Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Many classes fill early. Registration deadline is August 21.

School begins on Thursday, August 24th. Attend the Back-to-School coffee at 8:15 in the second-grade arbor for information about volunteer opportunities and activities for your child. School hours will be as follows:

First Session Kindergarten 8:10-12:10
Second Session Kindergarten 10:10-2:40
1st and 2nd grades 8:15-2:45
Thursday "All Together Day" All K, 1st and 2nd 8:15 to 1:30
