Laurel PTO Notes

Holiday Toy Drive
It's not too early to start shopping for the Caring and Sharing Holiday Toy Drive. We will be collecting unwrapped toys and gift wrap supplies in the donation bin in front of the Laurel office from December 4 through December 15. Donations (gift cards, checks, and credit cards) are also welcome, and can be left with the staff in the school office. See the
flyer for details. Contact: Robin Connell, 326-6304, robinconnell(at)gmail.com.

Bake Sale
The Winter Sing Bake Sale will be on December 15. We need a few more volunteers to help wrap items the day before or help sell. If you can help us for an hour or so, please contact Eileen Rozanski, evr456(at)comcast.net, 327-7144, or Shana Middler, shananelson(at)yahoo.com, 321-3411.

Rummage Sale
Please volunteer for the fabulous Laurel-Encinal Rummage Sale! Volunteers are needed February 3, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and February 1 and 2 for set up and presale. Also, please save anything you might want to donate or ask us about early drop off. Clean your things out before or after the holidays and earn $$$$$ for our school at the same time! ***TAX DEDUCTIBLE***

One Warm Coat
The One Warm Coat drive is coming to Laurel! Please donate your gently used coats to the "One Warm Coat" clothing drive being held by the Girl Scout community of Laurel School. Brownie troops will be collecting coats OF ALL SIZES during morning drop- off times Tuesday, December 5, through Friday, December 8. We will also accept gently used HOLIDAY clothing for girls and boys, as well as raincoats and boots. Collected items will be donated to Haven House in Menlo Park, and the Shelter Network of San Mateo County. Contact: Lynn Cox, LCox99(at)earthlink.net.

Lost and Found
With the cooler weather, more jackets and sweaters are turning up in the lost and found. You may want to look through the rack in the Multi just in case we have something of yours that you haven't missed yet.

Missing Metal Tub
Staff Appreciation is missing a very large metal tub that was last seen in September in the Community Room. This tub was purchased for Laurel School to be used for drinks and ice for the various events we host for teachers and staff. If you borrowed this item, please remember to return it promptly to the Community Room. Please email chazens(at)sbcglobal.net or slolson(at)pacbell.net if you have the container or know of its whereabouts. Thank you!
