  • Order Second-Term Hot Lunches

    It is time again to order your child's hot lunch! As of January 8 you can enter the web site and order your child's hot lunch for the second term.

    You must order meals for February 1 through May 31 if you want lunches - any previous orders you have submitted will expire at the end of January. There will be no reordering after January 23, and payment must be received in office by January 23.

    2005 Winter Sing DVD (Last Year)

    Winter Sing DVD News Flash: If you missed out on last year's DVD, lost it, or want another copy, the 2005 Winter Sing DVD is also available for purchase! To order the 2005 DVD, please place a completed order form (forms are also available in the office) and check for $15 in the marked envelope in the office. Please indicate on the form whether you are ordering the 2005 DVD, the 2006 DVD, or both. The deadline for ordering a copy of the 2005 DVD is January 19, 2007. The PTO thanks you for your support!

    Know Chess! Registration

  • Thursdays, 2:30 OR 3:30
  • 1/11 - May 31
  • Location: First Grade Arbor

    These chess classes are suited for any student interested in chess, from utter beginner to the more advanced student. We will review basic chess rules, and then proceed to chess notation, basic tactics, and tournament rules. A typical class will include 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of games.
    NOTE: This new session begins on Thursday. If you have not signed up by then, make sure you either pick up your child right after school or send the form and check with your child to chess.


  • Pre-Engineering FUNdamentals with Legos

  • Fridays, 2:45-4:15 p.m.
  • Winter Session: 1/5 - 3/23 (no class Jan 19, Feb 23, Mar 9)
  • Spring Session: 3/30 - 6/8 (no class April 13, May 18)
  • Laurel Multi
  • Explore concepts in physics, mechanical and structural engineering, and architecture while playing with your favorite LEGO creations! Fee: $180 for 9 sessions.

    Please note that this class is only open to NEW STUDENTS. This class is almost full - please call for availability.


    MPAEF Auction Donations
    MPAEF New Logo

    When writing your New Year's Resolutions, don't forget "Donate to the MPAEF Auction!" Starting this week, we'll begin soliciting for Viva Las Vegas!, the 2007 Auction that benefits Laurel, Encinal, Oak Knoll and Hillview. Please consider donating sporting event tickets, vacation homes or parties. Thanks, and Happy Holidays from the MPAEF.

    Show Biz Dance's new session is starting! We offer a wide variety of classes for a range of ages and abilities. Visit the ShowBiz Dance website at www.showbizdance.net or call 570-0733 for class options. Classes start the week of January 8, and space is still available.
