Safe Ringwood Parking
|
|
The south side of Ringwood Avenue, between
Coleman and the school crosswalk, has been
determined by safety consultants to be an
area where parked cars are creating a safety
hazard. Children walking and biking have no
room to pass these parked cars safely, and
must use the main roadway. We are therefore
suggesting that the school community, in the
interest of safety , avoid parking here
during pickup and drop-off times, 7:50-8:20
a.m. and 2:30-3 p.m. Instead, please pull
forward of the crosswalk so children can
safely reach the crosswalk and enter our
school grounds. Nancy Hendry would appreciate
your cooperation in this regard.
