Thank you to Deeelish for their great support of our schools! Each month they have a great new menu of yummy meals to choose from. Check out www.deeelish.com. Reserve a spot in one of their food prep parties on their website. Or plan your own private party with a group of friends. They do the 'shopping and chopping' and you just assemble it using their easy instructions. The meals can be frozen until needed. Our PTOs earn $15 for each full order and $25 for each full order of 10 or more people. Please see the attached flyer for the detailed instructions.

Congrats to the latest Jeanie Ritchie Grant recipients! This year, the MPAEF invited District teachers to apply for Jeanie Ritchie Grants in the spring as well as in the fall. This additional funding cycle will allow teachers to implement innovative projects during the Spring and Fall of 2007. Congratulations to lead teachers Caryl Brewbaker, Heidi Yamada, and Ruth Peterson who were recently awarded these Jeanie Ritchie Teaching Grants. The three grants totaling $2,880 will benefit students at Laurel, Encinal, and Oak Knoll schools. Look for more details at www.mpaef.org.
