MPAEF Campaign Update
As we begin the second half of the school year, we want to give you an update on our fundraising campaign. Before Winter Break, 645 families generously contributed $1.09 million, which is very close to half of our yearly goal. However, it probably comes as no surprise that we're behind last year's fundraising efforts. Part of our January effort will be to phone people who've not yet given in order to reach our goal of $2.4 million. The unfortunate economic climate has contributed to significant losses to our District, as Superintendent Ken Ranella outlined in an email to District families. The money raised for the Foundation is a key way to avoid personnel and program cuts. If you've made your gift, we sincerely thank you. If you haven't yet, it's not too late at www.mpaef.org/donate. No gift is too large or small and all gifts are put to productive use as we strive to continue the tradition of excellence in our District. |
