The Laurel Art and Science Fair Needs You!
The Laurel Art & Science Fair will be held on Thursday, April 23rd from 9 to 11 am. Parent volunteers are needed to assist with student workshops at this very popular annual event. We need a number of parents for various workshops and are in particular need of a parent with a medical background to assist with the ABC's of Anatomy - ideally someone who would be willing to spearhead the workshop next year. Our current leader has graciously offered to run the workshop again this spring, even though she no longer has children at Laurel.

"TAKE A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE"
Rock the Foundation"Take a walk on the wild side" at the MPAEF spring event! This rock 'n roll themed party is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, at Redwood City's fabulous Fox Theatre. Watch your email this week for more information and a save-the-date reminder.

Last year's auction has become this year's rock 'n roll party in response to your feedback. The event will focus on live music, great company, good times, and dancing. We'll still have a silent auction, but with only two of our most popular auction categories: parties and teacher donations. To donate a party, contact Celine Sanie at celine( at )sanie.com or Joan Lambert at joanlambert( at )hotmail.com. Donations are greatly appreciated through Friday, February 27th. Rock on!

Many thanks to Hillview 8th grader Julia H. who contributed to this year's Rock the Foundation logo.
