| Help Build Our Schools Brick by Brick |
Here's
the upside of construction on campus: while beautiful, spacious,
new and upgraded facilities are being built at each district
school campus, you have a unique opportunity to leave your mark
and support our district at the same time. Now is your chance to buy a
brick with a personal message which will be incorporated into your
school's construction and be a permanent part of our new
campuses. Bricks are available at each of the four schools:
Laurel, Encinal, Oak Knoll and Hillview. Buy one for the family,
one for each child at each school, or honor a teacher or staff
member. It's easy at https://www.bricksrus.com/order/mpaef/index.php This is
a one time opportunity with a limited number of bricks on each
campus. In addition, your total $100 brick
donation is fully tax-deductible and net proceeds will support our
district through the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation.
Please follow the instructions on the website and remember to return to
the bricks-r-us website after payment to complete the sale. If
you have questions, please contact Laurie Sapp at sapp_laurie( at )yahoo.com. |

Classroom Project Update Given
the economy and our desire to simplify Foundation efforts for our
volunteers and our donors, we will only be creating and selling
classroom projects in the Kindergarten and 5th grade classes.
The Kindergarten Projects will be sold at the individual school open
houses and an order form will go home for the 5th grade project in
April. If you have any questions about this change, contact our
classroom projects coordinator, Eugenie Atherton, at eugenie( at )athertons.net, or the Foundation office at foundationoffice( at )mpaef.org.
ROCK THE FOUNDATION!
Hopefully by now, you've marked April 25th on
your calendar to attend the upcoming MPAEF spring event: Rock the
Foundation! We'll send you more information about this rockin'
event in mid-March. In the meantime, please consider donating a party
for this year's silent auction. Party donations are being collected
through Friday, February 27th. Contact Celine Sanine at celine( at )sanie.com or Joan Lambert at joanlambert( at )hotmail.com to make your contribution. |
