MARINE CAMP (MARINE SCIENCE INSTITUTE)
Feel the wind in your hair and mud on your hands as you get acquainted with the San Francisco Bay. We offer a hands-on approach to Marine Biology each summer at Marine Science Institute's Marine Camp.  Splash in ocean tide pools, poke in the mud at nearby estuaries and surf the waves aboard our Research Vessel while experiencing first hand the diverse world of Marine Life.

PENINSULA YOUTH THEATRE: THEATRE IN THE PARK
In "Theatre in the Park" campers spend two fun weeks putting on a show.  Make sets and costumes, build props, play theater games and learn lines to prepare for a final evening performance in a local park!

SPRING DOWN HORSEMANSHIP CAMP 2009
Don't miss out on our fun filled camps learning about every aspect of horsemanship including grooming, tacking up your horse, safety around horses, caring and handling, live demonstrations, vaulting and of course riding! ISP LANGUAGE IMMERSION SUMMER CAMP 2009
Our Summer Camp 2009 is proposed either in French, Chinese, Spanish or ESL at the International School of the Peninsula. Three 2-week sessions are offered, each with a different theme. Students are grouped according to both grade level and language proficiency. During each session, students participate in morning language classes and afternoon activities (art, sports and games). Field trips and guest speakers are planned to enrich each themed session. A wonderful opportunity for your child to discover or improve a second language in an interactive and dynamic way!

STANFORD ARCHERY CAMP
Come learn how to shoot at Stanford Archery's 2009 Summer Camp! Our camp provides a fun and exciting opportunity to learn about and enjoy archery. Camps are taught and supervised by Stanford Archery team members who are all certified coaches in the National Archery Association, and we will provide all equipment. Archers of all experience levels are welcome. Online sign-ups open in early April.

RIEKES SCULPTURE CAMP AND COMIC BOOK ART CAMP
Sculpture Camp: Join us as we create beautiful three-dimensional artwork with clay, plaster, found materials and paper-machet and survey the importance that sculpture has had in the history of art since pre-historic times.
Comic Book Art Camp: Discover the vast world of sequential art in the form of comic strips, comic books and graphic arts as we examine art ranging from hieroglyphs to The Far Side and storyboards of today's Hollywood blockbusters. We will create a cast of characters, turning a script into a pictorial scene and completing our own four-page comic book.

CAMP SHORELINE
Surrounded by a wildlife sanctuary, nestled beside a quaint lake, and led by an amazing staff of counselors, Camp Shoreline will give youths the ultimate summer experience. The mornings usually will be spent learning a skill related to one of several sports that may include kayaking, rowing, canoeing or pedalboating. Campers will then get the chance to spend time on the water putting to practice those skills. Afternoons may be spent playing games, making crafts, taking a sailboat ride, hiking, or learning about Shoreline Park, birdwatching in its wildlife sanctuary and exploring its natural history.

SHORELINE WINDSURFING AND SAILING CAMP
Learn two of the most fulfilling and rewarding lifetime sports for the total summer experience! Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of safely maneuvering sail powered craft, rigging and de-rigging, and water safety while working in a supportive, team environment with certified instructors. Practice on a land simulator, rig your own windsurf sail, learn how to right a capsized sailboat.

ART IN ACTION
Explore the "Wild World of Animals" from puppies, fish, lizards, to bugs! Create masterpieces inspired by Matisse, Klee and Gauguin.
