However, we need half of our Laurel families to still join the PTO to ensure that the student, staff and community enrichment programs become a reality for the 2009-10 school year. Get updates from the PTO, Linda Creighton, the School Board, and then enjoy an exciting talk from Toni Barone on how 21st Century Learning impacts Laurel students. Find out how our district has been busy creating opportunities that provide our students with an educational experience that reflects today's complex and global world and prepares them to learn in tomorrow's world. After-School Activities- Enroll Now!!

Many of the After-School programs are still looking for students.

Sports and Fun! starts this Thursday, 1:40 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. Come out for a free demonstration day.

To enroll your student in any of the after-school activities go to the Online Arena found on the Laurel PTO website. Look for After-School Programs.

Hoops on Mondays, is still enrolling students,
Math on Mondays, is still enrolling students, deadline is 9/18, class begins 10/5
Berlitz Beginning Spanish for AM kinders on Wednesdays: This class needs at least one more student to continue.
Berlitz Beginning Spanish on Wednesdays is still enrolling students.
Berlitz Advanced Spanish on Thursdays is still enrolling students.
Sports and Fun on Thursdays STARTS THIS THURSDAY and is still enrolling students.
Chess Club and Chess Team meet on Thursdays and are still enrolling students.
Engineering FUNdamentals with Legos on Fridays is still enrolling 1st and 2nd graders.

If your son or daughter is participating in an Afterschool Program please remind them to go to the class on the appropriate day.
